The multi award-winning Lava collection has become Zone3’s endurance staple that uses the very best in Italian and French materials, to repel water, optimise aerodynamics and enhance comfort. The sort is formed from three main materials, including:

Aero-Stripe
Located on the raglan sleeves and upper back, Aero-Stripe material from Italy is an innovative striped material that improves aerodynamics. The UPF-50 textured material creates turbulence across the key boundary layers during high speeds on the bike, reducing drag and improving race times.

AeroForce Soft-Touch
A French woven fabric which is used on the main front and back panels delivers an incredibly comfort feel. The material is also incredibly breathable with excellent sweat wicking for optimum temperature control. Offering full freedom of movement AeroForce has a 360-degree stretch.

Sensory
The high denier rating of the Sensory fabric, used throughout the suit, delivers balanced compression where you need it most. This helps to improve muscle support, increase blood flow away from the legs, enhance endurance and improve stamina.

Key Features

Iron Performance Pad
Designed by Cytech, one of the World’s leading pad manufacturers in Italy, the Iron Performance pad offers high-quality support and comfort. The pad is perforated and laminated to deliver supreme breathability and quick drying capabilities. Additionally, the pad is formed with high-density foam that gives more padding and protection when cycling with central channelling in the perinea area designed to offset pressure points. The high level of elasticity in the pad also maximises freedom of movement when swimming and running.

Heat Bonded Sleeves
Optimising the fit of the suit, the head bonded sleeves reduce drag, completely streamlining the suit.

Comfort Fit Design
Built for long-distance the trisuit is designed to provide a long-lasting comfortable fit that maximises performance through the swim, bike and run.

Flatlock Stitching
Throughout the suit, flatlock seams are used to further streamline the suit and to minimise chafing and discomfort.

Nutrition Storage
At the rear of the suit is an easy-access storage pocket which is great for storing nutrition and essentials. For added security the pocket comes with a heat bonded cover.

Zip Protection
To prevent chaffing and irritation the front zip is protected with soft fabrics used to cover the inside of the zipper, combined with a ‘fold over’ cover for improved next-to-skin comfort.

Leg Grippers
Integrated leg grippers made with a premium Italian design that utilises natural gold fibres for improved comfort. The grippers help stabilise the position of the suit, keeping the legs in place especially during the bike and run stages.
